Stopping a Script
Sometimes when a script is running you need to stop it. Let's say it might be looping endlessly, or there's just a problem and you need to stop. To stop the current running script follow the instructions below. Note that stopping a script is not the same as stopping automation. Stopping a script stops the script from doing the next command. Stopping automation stops the next action from carrying out, but the current script will continue until it's finished.
Follow These Instructions
- Click on the "Scripts" button in the main toolbar
- Click the "Stop" button in the Script editor toolbar
- If you still see the script is running then you can try pressing stop a few more times
- Make sure that also, the Automate button on the main window is not depressed because automation constantly starts scripts.
