Stopping a Script

<< Back
Sometimes when a script is running you need to stop it. Let's say it might be looping endlessly, or there's just a problem and you need to stop. To stop the current running script follow the instructions below. Note that stopping a script is not the same as stopping automation. Stopping a script stops the script from doing the next command. Stopping automation stops the next action from carrying out, but the current script will continue until it's finished.

Follow These Instructions

  1. Click on the "Scripts" button in the main toolbar
  2. Click the "Stop" button in the Script editor toolbar
  3. If you still see the script is running then you can try pressing stop a few more times
  4. Make sure that also, the Automate button on the main window is not depressed because automation constantly starts scripts.
